Feasibility study for establishing a central monitoring system for ancillary services in the Turkish electricity market

The aim of this project is the specification of a monitoring system of the provision of ancillary services in the Turkish electricity market. Precisely, primary and secondary load-frequency regulation and reactive-voltage regulation services have to be monitored.
Research topics:
- *Steady-state: Load flows, analysis of power system constraints, optimal load flows, voltage control ancilliary service,short-circuits, protections in transmission and ditribution networks
- *Automatic Generation Control: Design and tuning of AGC regulators, identification of power plant models, primary and secondary regulation ancilliary services,
